4. Messages You Send Us on Facebook and Instagram

When you message Refyne Detailing on Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct, we receive the content of your messages, any photos you send, your name as shown on your profile, and an identifier Meta assigns to our conversation with you. We use this only to answer your enquiry, give you a quote, and arrange your booking.

To reply faster, replies to messages may be drafted with the help of software that runs on our own computer. Every reply is checked and approved by the business owner before it is sent. We do not use your messages for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not send you marketing messages through Messenger or Instagram.

We keep your messages and details for as long as you’re our customer, so we can look after you next time, unless you ask us to delete them (see below). Our internet provider (Cloudflare) carries the data securely, and our SMS provider (Twilio) sends the business owner notifications that may include a draft reply. Neither may use your information for any other purpose.

5. How to Delete Your Data

You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, including your Facebook or Instagram messages, at any time. Either:

• Message us on Facebook or Instagram with the words “delete my data”, or
• Email info@refynedetailing.com with the subject “Delete my data” and the name on your Facebook or Instagram account.

We will delete your information within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by reply. Deleting your data from our records does not delete messages from Facebook or Instagram themselves; you can remove those in the Messenger or Instagram app.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business, such as payment processors and email service providers, subject to confidentiality agreements.
